Gary and Vicky Goodspeed

 Gary Goodspeed has been a professional singer/musician most of his adult life. He has performed in many venues around the country, from Cincinnati, OH, to Honolulu, HI. Vicky  Goodspeed played keyboards professionally in clubs around Dayton, OH. She was a music minister for three Catholic churches in and around  Dayton, OH for thirty years.

Gary and Vicky combined their talents and became praise and worship ministers in Cincinnati, OH. After retiring to Tryon, NC, they formed a duet called Goodspeed. Gary and Vicky moved to Aurora, CO, to be grandparents. After settling into the new lifestyle, they changed their name to Yesterday’s Bacon. They began performing their mellow classic rock in restaurants, corporate parties, and community concerts.

Tex Almeria, Jr.

Crescente “Tex” Almeria was born in Palo, Leyte 

The Philippines.  His mother was a professor of music, composer, writer, and singer.  Tex plays the piano, percussion, violin, and guitar.  He played Bajo de arco with the High school Rondalla at the Divine Word University in  Tacloban.  He traveled extensively with the Leyte Kalipayan Folk Dance  Troupe in Asia, to the Middle East & Europe the highlight of which was a performance for the late Pope John Paul II in Castel Gandolfo,  Italy. Tex came to the United States in 1985 with his wife, Sally. He was a member of the LokoMotion, a Filipino Rock and Roll Band and T&T acoustic duo.

Lynn Nicholson


Lynn Nicholson (drums) is old enough to have had the good fortune of singing in school choirs and playing in pit bands and concert orchestras.   Preferring to be an entertainer, he receives his joy by playing and watching a crowd dance and laugh while having a good time.

Kevin McCotter

 Kevin  McCotter (bass) is a multi instrumentalist originally from the San  Francisco Bay Area.  Kevin performed with multiple SF based rock and  blues bands, as well as worked as a recording engineer in two studios,  before moving to Colorado 22 years ago.
